Executive Director Annette Luycx - facilitated delving deep into accessing one’s inner artistic voice.
I marvelled at her process, with years of experience as art practice and teacher, deep care and consideration for individual needs and undertaking.

Artist Statement
The narrative of this triptych begins with the militarism of our time, a civilization mired in dictatorship, ownership, conflict, rule and rape that dictates the displacement and destruction of MOTHER and all living things. This truth I ponder daily, immense in our lives of the current reality globally. Until this moment in time I had not provided space to lay it down visually. It was surely time!
The following image of MOTHER, Mothering, wisdom, seeking truth, ancient old in the passage of time immemorial, honouring that which holds all things in balance. Inherit within each Being to protect, nurture and nourish with deep respect and care.
The third panel is the result of love for MOTHER and Her Beings. When seeds, birds, bees and butterfly's are what we deeply value. When our individual and collective desires above all else are priority in protecting Her waters, the land and all habitat. This held as a life contract, that our time here on Earth is a blessing and opportunity, contributing to generational offerings of pure love and care.
